Something we'd like to note is that we wish there was an option to add a customized setting. We'd love to be able to run the light at, lets say 700 lumens, for 8 hours, or however that math works out. The low setting of 350 lumens for 15 hours may be bright enough for slower speeds but it isn't great for traveling at high speeds when descending.
You can pick up a spare battery for $109.95 which is reasonable considering the capacity, weather proofing, and convenience. That will power you through the longest nights you'll find this side of the arctic.

The light head itself is extremely light and we love that the mode button can be placed on the side of your helmet. This makes changing your mode or powering the light on/off extremely easy.
